The Teaching, Reaching, Experiencing with Kids (TREK)
Program provides adventure- based/experiential learning activities for youth involved with DCF, DMH, DDS and a grant funded program for Leominster Public School middle school students. Various locations in Central Mass and parts of MetroWest. Throughout the school year, TREK is offered as a 13-week after-school program with an average of 80 hours of group activities. The summer program is a 7- 8-week program with an average of 80 hours of group activities. The program also provides a 5-day school vacation program for youth with ASD with an average of 30 hours of programming.
Program activities may include Team Building, Leadership skills, High and Low Ropes Course, Snowboarding, CHILL Program, Sledding, Snowshoeing, Rock Climbing, New Games, Hiking, Camping, Geocaching, Leave No Trace Ethics, Swimming and the National Youth Project Using Mini-Bikes.
