Located at 259 Park Ave, Worcester MA, Altea’s Eatery is serving up some of the best brunch food we have ever had! The mouthwatering menu features American food with a French twist served 7 days a week from
7 a.m. and 3 p.m
Owners Chef Enton Mehillaj and his wife Oriola Koci opened Altea’s Eatery in 2016, naming the restaurant after their oldest daughter. The couple also owns Livia’s Dish, located in Worcester.
When arrived we were kindly greeted by the hostess and the restaurant’s manager Ken. The cozy dining room has an industrial french cafe vibe.

We started our meal with a “Bucket of Bubbles” which includes a bottle of champagne with your choice of three juices so you can make your own mimosas! We chose guava, pear and peach juices. Guava was the table favorite.

The scrumptious menu features traditional French bistro favorites with a twist, such as savory or sweet crepes (Nutella Crepes are one of the most popular menu items), Heavenly French Toast (my personal favorite!) Brioche bread, macerated blueberries, candied pecans, and Chantilly cream and the Braised Short Rib Omelet with white cheddar cheese.
Choosing our meals was a tough decision, between the 4 of us we ordered 5 menu items!
The Brunch Burger was delicious; crispy bacon, melted white cheddar, chipotle aioli, fresh lettuce & tomato topped with a perfectly fried egg served with fries that had that had just the right amount of crisp.

The crisp Bananas Foster Waffle topped with warm bananas flavored with hints of cinnamon and nutmeg and notes of caramel and brown sugar.

*Must have* Heavenly French Toast, Brioche bread, warm, decadent, rich, macerated blueberries, candied pecans, and Chantilly cream.

The Vegetable Harvest Omelet is stuffed with goat cheese, spinach, roasted zucchini, oven cured tomato, roasted red peppers

If you look up ‘comfort food’ in the dictionary – there should be a picture of Altea’s delicious slowly braised short rib omelet!
