Egg Hunt Safari at Roger Williams Park Zoo!

March 28th & 29th, 2015 and April 3rd & 4th, 2015.

Join this “eggcellent” safari at Roger Williams Park Zoo! Follow the clues to different locations around the Zoo to claim your eggs. When your hunting is through, collect a treat and enjoy the rest of our festive spring activities. The event runs from 11am – 3pm (last Scavenger Hunt card given out at 2:30pm) and is free with Zoo admission.

Visits with the Easter Bunny: Hop along the bunny trail to Our House in the Big Backyard where you can make an eco-friendly craft, and take your very own picture with the Easter Bunny! Zoo visitors can purchase tickets at the main Zoo entrance, or as they enter the event. The event runs on March 28 & 29 from 10am to 12pm (noon) and 1pm to 3 pm, and on April 3 & 4 from 10am to 12pm (noon) and 1pm to 4 pm. The price, in addition to general Zoo admission, is $10 for children ages 3-12, and $5 for toddlers ages 2 and under; parents visit the Easter Bunny for free! The visiting area is fully accessible. Pre-registration is NOT required for the visits.

HOW DOES IT WORK? Parents are encouraged to bring their own egg collection bags, as the Zoo does not provide bags for this event.

– Pick up your Egg Scavenger Hunt Card at our event Welcome Table located in the admissions area (last card will be handed out at 2:30pm to allow for guests to complete the Scavenger Hunt by 3pm) – Follow the clues to different locations around the Zoo to claim your eggs

– When your hunting is through turn in your collected eggs at our redemption station and collect a prize – Enjoy the rest of our festive Spring activities!

– Event runs from 11am – 3pm. All activities are free with Zoo admission.

Daily Event Schedule, March 29, 2015 All activites will run from 11am-3pm unless otherwise noted

11am-1pm Meet and greet with the Snow Princess from Isabelle Princess Parties 11am-2pm Stop by to visit RI’s local egg farm and the folks at Little Rhody Farms for some fun stickers and coloring! (While supplies last) 11am-2pm Watch Vinny Lovegrove the Bubble Man make bubbles that are six feet long!

– Music and fun with DJ Al Martinez

– Hop on over to the Launch Trampoline Park table to play some fun games and have an awesome time!

– Add a spoonful of sugar to your day! Meet and greet with Mary Poppins. – Enjoy Spring themed games – Learn something new at our Education Stations – Have some hula hoop fun with Judi Ann Jones! -Visit with the Warwick Mall and meet their mascot, Happy! (breaks taken as needed) -Race over to the McDonald’s team for an egg relay and learn about fresh-cracked eggs at their local restaurants!

Redemption Station – Turn in your eggs here in exchange for a prize sponsored by Children’s Workshop! (While supplies last) -Stop by the Children’s Workshop table after claiming your prize to learn tips on planting and composting
