9:00 am – 12:00 pm Stream Clean-up
Help make Broad Meadow Brook sparkle! We will walk along the banks to pick up trash in and near the water. Meet at 9:00 am at the end of Hampton St. Wear rubber boots, hip waders or mud shoes. Bring small rakes and grabbers, if you have them. Expect to get dirty! For ages 7 and older.
11:00 am – 2:00 pm Hands-on Nature-themed Activities
Design your own bookmark using animal tracking stamps. Create a pine cone bird feeder to take home. Read a na…ture story together. Add your “butterfly” to the “100 Greatest Things About Broad Meadow Brook”. For ages 3 and older.
11:00 am – 2:00 pm (ongoing) Self-guided Trail Exploration
Stop by the Visitor Center, grab a trail map, scavenger hunt, Discovery booklet or Quest and head out onto the trails for your own self-guided walk. For all ages.
11:30 am and 1:00 pm Naturalist-led Guided Walks
One hour guided nature walks depart from the Visitor Center, introducing you to the sanctuary along our accessible and sensory trail. Led by an experienced nature guide, you will explore several habitats, including a woodland forest, wetland and pond. For all ages.
