- Hollis Hills – Fitchburg
Hayrides, apple cider, cider donuts and apple picking? You can’t go wrong. Head out into the orchards and fill your bag with anything from Macintosh to Cortlands. Take a sugary caramel apple for the road or buy a savory apple pie to surprise your family.
- Sholan Farm – Leominster
Honeycrisp, Macintosh, Fuji, Empire, Red and Golden Delicious, and more! With 169 acres, Sholan farm has over thirty five varieties of apples perfect for eating on the spot or baking into pies. It’s a family oriented fun zone with many activities from festivals to tours that even offers blueberry and raspberry picking as well.
- Carlson Orchards – Harvard
Find all of your favorites in the orchard and enjoy the sweet jams, jellies, honeys and more back at the shop. Carlson Orchards is not only home to apples, but is also a great place to find raspberries, blueberries, six types of peaches and five varieties of nectarines.
- Meadowbrook Orchards – Sterling
Five generations of dedicated Chandlers have worked this farm to make it great. The care that goes into their produce is unmatched with a beautiful harvest of apples, raspberries, blueberries, nectarines, and pumpkins. Need something to do? Well, you’ll never run out of activities for everyone in the family. With wine tastings and fresh brewed beer for the adults, apple, peach, and nectarine orchards perfect for an outing with kids, and a great family restaurant, you’ll be satisfied for the whole day and want to come back.
- Honey Pot Hill Orchards – Stowe
Mix your apples and pears or head out in the summer and get your fill of blueberries. Honey Pot Hill Orchards is a beautiful place to fulfill your fall day out in the apple orchards. And of course, you can finish it off with some fresh pressed apple cider at the Farm Store.
- Stowe Farm Orchards – Millbury
With your traditional apple favorites and tons of activities for everyone, Stowe Farm Orchards is the perfect family spot. Pick out a pumpkin or buy some fresh produce at the store. Try the rock wall, take a hayride, enjoy the petting zoo and so much more!
- Tougas Family Farm – Boylston
Fill your June through October with strawberries, cherries, blueberries, peaches, blackberries, apples, and pumpkins! - Lanni Orchards – Lunenburg
Lanni Orchards has locally sourced ice cream, fudge, homemade fruit pies, fresh meat, honey, and, of course, apples! Even get your fill of apples, strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, and pumpkins out in the gorgeous orchards. With hayrides, bowling, corn mazes, and hay pyramids, there’s something to entertain your family and friends all day long.

Have a picnic amidst the beautiful apple orchards of Breezelands Orchard, or take a tractor ride across their 190 acres of land. If you get hungry on your adventure, stop at their farm stand to get the freshest fruit, jelly, honey, and of course baked yummies. You can’t leave without trying a sugary apple cider donut or taking a fresh pie to go.
- Clearview Farm – Sterling
Clearview Farm is a small orchard and farm stand with a long and interesting history. Remember “Mary had a Little Lamb”? Well, the descendents of the little girl for whom the nursery rhyme was written run the 44 acres of pick-your-own apples, peaches, raspberries, blueberries, and pumpkins. Join them on Family Day and Pumpkin Fest for live music and fun fruit picking!
- Hyland Orchard & Brewery – Sturbridge
With a wide range of pick your own apples, live music, animal petting, brewery and farm tours, wagon rides, and pumpkins for Halloween, there’s something to keep everyone busy. Over 2,400 apple trees bloom every year to make for a full orchard and variety of great apples to fill your bag with.
