Coffee is what keeps me going most days! When Owen was a baby I had a successful art business, being a stay-at-home-mom my art slowly took a back seat. Now that my son is bigger I am incorporating more art into our activities by creating fun art projects we can do together!
I grabbed some “Inspiration in a bottle” (SToK™ Cold-Brew Iced Coffee) to get my creativity flowing for our Squirt Gun Painting project. SToK™ is cold and slow brewed from an Arabica blend with no weird ingredients!
SToK™ is the brand of thoroughly geeked-out coffee that provides an elevated, coffee-forward experience and it’s available at your local Walmart in five different flavors: Mocha, Black, Vanilla, Un-Sweet and Not Too Sweet. I like my coffee on the sweet-side so I decided to give Not Too Sweet a try. The bold, smooth flavor of the coffee was not lost when I added creamer. When you’re on, you are capable of really incredible things. Like squirt gun painting!
Squirt Gun Painting
Supplies:
Tempra or Acrylic Paint in assorted colors
Water Guns (I picked them up at Walmart for $0.97)
Water
Canvas
Directions:
Mix the paint with water (50/50 mixture).
Use a measuring cup with a pour spout and slowly pour in the paint/water mixture into your squirt guns.
Set up your canvasses outside. (Choose a spot that is ok to get messy. Paint may stain)
Grab your paint filled squirt guns and go to town!
Sound effects helped he creative process (hahaha).
Ready to hang!
What keeps your creativity flowing?
There are so many awesome ways to paint – this is a great way to get the kids interested in art. #client
