All moms are welcome to enjoy FREE admission at Tower Hill Botanic Garden on May 9 and 10, 2015 for two days of flowers, programs, and the celebration of spring’s return!
There will be much to do and see on Mother’s Day weekend, including a last viewing of the Field of Gold with more than 25,000 blooming daffodils, nine formal garden areas with lots of early color and plant growth, views of Mt. Wachusett, the Art of the Heirloom seed library exhibit, a Women in Horticulture exhibit in the botanic library, and a boutique-style gift shop with gardening supplies, jewelry, clothing, and more.
Visitors are welcome to bring a picnic lunch to enjoy on the grounds.
Register for a 1 p.m. talk on Saturday by author and garden expert Kristin Green on her book: “Plantiful: Start Small, Grow Big with 150 Plants that Spread, Self-Sow, and Overwinter.”
For children, there will be a story walk, scavenger hunt, a fairy house village, easy hikes through the surrounding woodlands, new life at the Wildlife Pond, and much more to explore.
