Animal Adventures, located in Bolton, MA is a unique and memorable learning experience for animal lovers of all ages!
At Animal Adventures, the dedicated staff rescues and cares for abandoned, orphaned, and neglected animals. The animals are either kept and used for educational programs or are placed at other animal facilities, to ensure they are receiving the proper care and treatment.
Throughout our visit, the friendly and knowledgeable staff answered all of our questions and taught us many new facts about animals!
Did you know the quills of the African Crested Porcupines range in size from 1 – 13 inches! Their sharp, hollow quills are used to protect the porcupine from predators like lions and hyenas.
3 live animal shows are available daily. The show lasts about 35 minutes and includes a description of animals such as (bearded dragon, chinchilla, alligator, Ferret, snake), education about them, and an opportunity to pet each of the animals. The kids really enjoyed getting to participate in the show and the opportunity to hold and pet some really interesting animals.
Animal Adventures also offer a variety of private tour options. During these tours, you can experience the excitement going 1-on-1 with some of the most exotic animals in the world!
Toucans use their beaks to pluck and peel fruit, their main source of food.
